Whole Building Air Leakage Testing
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ThermalWise performed whole-building air leakage testing at the St. John House envelope retrofit project, located in Stratford, PE. The purpose of this testing was to determine the air leakage rate of the building envelope and to compare it to the project specification. No pre-retrofit air leakage testing was completed.
The building was tested to determine the building’s envelope air leakage performance. Testing was performed in general conformance with ASTM E-3158 using the multi-point procedure. The building was prepared in such a manner to test the building envelope per the standard.
