Whole Building Air Leakage Testing
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ThermalWise performed whole-building air leakage testing for the Georgetown 10 Unit Building located in Georgetown, PE.
The building was tested to confirm conformance with the project specifications. Testing was performed in general conformance with ASTM E3158 using the multi-point procedure. ASTM E3158 is the more recent whole building air leakage testing standard that has largely replaced ASTM E779 for testing of whole buildings. It is the standard that is referenced in the 2020 National Energy Code for Buildings. The building was prepared in such a manner to test the building envelope per the standard.
