ThermalWise was contracted by NSCC to diagnostic water infiltration testing of installed storefront glazing products located in the NSCC Ivany Testing Centre. Testing, conducted in accordance with AAMA 501.2, was carried out on the test specimen located on the building’s south elevation.  

AAMA 501.2 testing is intended to provide quality assurance and diagnostic field water penetration checks for installed storefronts, curtain walls and sloped glazing systems. The field check procedure is intended to evaluate joints, gaskets and sealant details in the glazing which are designed to be permanently closed and watertight. 

ThermalWise was contracted by MCA Consultants to conduct compartmentalization air leakage testing on the Acadia University Archives section of the Vaughan Memorial Library at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The purpose of the testing was to quantify air leakage of this enclosed area and to identify pathways of air leakage.
